The 23-year-old came through Southampton’s academy, signing a three-year pro deal, and had trials with Portsmouth before securing a move to League 2 champions Accrington Stanley in 2018.

Left-back Wood was handed his League 1 debut in a goalless draw against Bristol Rovers and made six appearances for Stanley in all competitions, also going out on loan to Havant in the National League.

As well as Dobson and Wood, Ebbsfleet have also signed Bobby-Joe Taylor from Dover this week.
