Right-back O'Neill, who featured for League 2 Stevenage last season, played 76 league games for Gills over a two-year period before departing for AFC Wimbledon in 2019.

Sterling-James is a Saint Kitts and Nevis international who was a youth player at Birmingham.

The 28-year-old has 22 Football League appearances to his name from a spell at Cheltenham and has also featured for Solihull Moors.

He was part of the Kidderminster squad that reached the fourth round of the FA Cup last season, when they were eventually knocked out by West Ham.

The Fleet have already signed the experienced trio of Josh Wright, Mark Cousins and Darren McQueen this summer along with Franklin Domi.
