On July 27 last year, a car was driven into the doors of the bar after a fight reportedly broke out at the venue.

Following the incident, a police spokesman said officers had received a report that a man had been attacked and had suffered facial injuries during a disturbance at the premises.

Shortly afterwards, a vehicle is said to have ploughed into the premises' gates and a parked car.

KentOnline obtained images showing the damage the following morning.

The venue's wooden gates, which front onto Beach Street, were smashed and a damaged Vauxhall Astra was also photographed at the scene.
