A man has been taken to hospital following a crash between a car and a motorbike.

Emergency services descended on the scene in Whitstable Road in Herne Bay shortly after the incident.

Police and ambulance services were present for some time after the collision, which occurred around 6.20pm yesterday.

The motorcyclist was treated at the scene for injuries, before being taken to a local hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
