Watch: Emergency crews in Herne Bay High Street
The road was shut after bricks and rubble fell from the roof earlier today. No casualties have been reported.
Three fire engines are in attendance, as well as a building inspector.
People are currently advised to avoid the area between Station Road and Dolphin Street, which is closed temporarily while crews make the scene safe.
Firefighters have been using a ladder to access the roof and inspect the damage and other chimney pots.
At least two chimneys have been deemed unstable, amid fears of strong winds tonight.
One has a large crack in it.
More to follow.
