Ford garage Herne Bay: Cars damaged at County Garage in Sea Street

Brand new cars were damaged and some written off when a driver left the road and ploughed into a showroom forecourt in the early hours.

Police were called at just after 4.30am today following reports of the accident at the County Garage in Sea Street, Herne Bay.

Officers say they are trying to establish the circumstances of the crash, which left two Kuga, one Focus and an EcoSport model damaged.

The garage’s general manager, Allan Thompson, said one or two cars involved could be classed as write-offs.

Police spokesman Amanda Wills says inquiries are ongoing.
