Teachers have been forced to close a school in Herne Bay following a gas leak.
Parents were asked to collect their children at Hampton Primary School in Fitzgerald Avenue just after 9am.
In a post on Facebook, the school said: "Unfortunately due to a gas leak we have to close the school to ensure the safety of everyone.
"Thank you for your understanding in this matter."
