Herne Bay: Cash stolen from Playzone, Eddington Lane, during break-in

CCTV footage shows the moment four burglars stole a till during a break in at a popular children's soft play centre.

Burglars broke into Playzone, Eddington Lane, shortly after 7.30pm on Friday night and a quantity of cash was stolen.

Police are carrying out a number of enquiries, including reviewing any possible CCTV opportunities.

A spokesman for Playzone said: "Break in happened just after 7.30pm on Friday evening.

"It was four people, they cut the fence on the side, broke glass on the fire door and let themselves in.

"Also they broke glass in office door and stolen change from the tills and also the till.

"Camera was on summer time so that's why it is 20.35 instead of 19.35."
