A 58-year-old Kent vet has appeared before a court accused of child pornography charges.

Laurence Swift, of Ivanhoe Road, Herne Bay, denied seven charges of making indecent photographs of children when he appeared before magistrates at Canterbury.

The case was adjourned and is due to be heard next year at crown court.
