MEMBERS of Herne Bay Angling Association are holding their Open Beach Classic on Sunday, May 4, with a guaranteed top prize of £1,000 for the top weight.

Fishing prospects are looking good as the peeler crab have arrived and the bass are starting to move inshore. There are only 200 pegs available so early entry is advised.
