The girls from Greenhill Gymnastics Club in Herne Bay were in impressive form as they travelled to Stoke-on-Trent to represent the South-East region at the British-National grade finals.

Amy Boucher competed for the National grade 3 team, with club-mate Gaia Jennings as team reserve, while Claudette Russell competed for the National grade 4 team.

The girls performed amazingly, both Boucher and Russell being the top scorers for the South-East.

Boucher helped her team achieve a British bronze medal and then went on to take the individual title of British National grade 3 champion.

This was a huge achievement for Boucher who, not only had her training interrupted by three Covid lockdowns, but also was competing while in the middle of her GCSEs at school.
