Ryan Scott charged with offences after Dymchurch Road crash in Hythe

A man alleged to have fled the scene of a crash which left a car in a crumpled mess has been charged with four offences.

Ryan Scott, of St Leonard's Road, Hythe, was arrested by police following the incident in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The crash in Dymchurch Road, which happened at 1.50am, resulted in a black Kia suffering extensive damage.

It was reported to have involved three vehicles. A front garden wall was also destroyed.

Police arrested Scott and charged him with failing to stop following a collision, failing to report a collision, driving without the correct licence and driving without insurance.

The 32-year-old has been bailed to appear before Folkestone magistrates in February.
