Port Lympne animal park celebrates World Giraffe Day

A Kent wildlife park is celebrating World Giraffe Day for the entire weekend.

This Saturday and Sunday, Port Lympne will be hosting a variety of games and activities to celebrate the tallest animals on Earth!

Guests to the park will be able to get their face painted to look like one of the long-necked mammals.

There will also be the chance for families to meet one of the expert giraffe keepers.

They will be able to discover what it’s like to work with the herd.

In addition, guests can join expert keepers on a landrover safari to meet Kent's only giraffes up close.

Priced at £20 per person, places are limited.

Guests are advised to head to Basecamp on arrival and book their placea to avoid disappointment.

There is also the opportunity to adopt two of the giraffes, Cillian and Settant,a from as little as £2.50 per month.

Anyone in giraffe fancy dress will also be in with a chance of winning two places on the landrover safari to meet the giraffes.
