Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson comes face to face with tiger at Port Lympne's Tiger Lodge

A pop star has shared a video of the moment she came face to face with an energetic tiger during a visit to a Kent animal park.

Former Little Mix band member Jesy Nelson has become the latest celebrity to stay at Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve near Hythe.

The singer posted footage on her Instagram account of her close encounter with the big cat at the attraction's 'Tiger Lodge'.

In the video – captioned "someone was hungry" – the 31-year-old is heard laughing after the tiger jumps up at the glass.

During her stay at the site, the former X Factor star also got to feed Eastern Black Rhino.

Other celebrities including Samantha Faiers and Billie Shepherd from Towie have also visited the park in recent years.

The Port Lympne website says guests staying in Tiger Lodge can "sleep within a whisker of tigers", describing it as an "unforgettable experience".

A stay at the lodge costs from £1,200.
