Purse snatched in sheltered housing burglary

A SEASIDE block of flats for the elderly has been burgled.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the break-in at Homepeak House, which offers sheltered accommodation for the elderly, in Bartholemew Street, Hythe.

A flat was broken into some time between 9.45pm and 10pm on Sunday, December 30, and a purse was stolen from a handbag that had been left in the lounge.

The occupant was in another room at the time of the break-in.
