In a statement posted on social media, the restaurant said: “After 10 amazing years, our doors will be closing for the last time on April 18.

“We bid farewell to our beloved customers. Thank you for being part of our journey and for making it unforgettable. Your patronage and support mean the world to us.

“Though we're closing our doors the memories we've shared will always remain. Farewell, and may our paths cross again in the future.”

The precise reasons behind the closure have not been revealed.

Among the many comments left by customers of the popular, Andy Bishop said: “The industry is in turmoil at the moment due to ever-rising behind-the-scenes costs across the board. We've had superb meals and service here during the last 10 years. Gutted to see you go - a proper family-run establishment.”
