Boots the Chemist stores in Kent face threat of closure as 200 at risk

Hundreds of Boots stores across the country face the threat of closure as another major town centre giant struggles to make a success of the high street.

Boots has dozens of stores across the county, including outlets in all our major towns.

Any closures would deliver another massive blow to town centres already reeling from the planned closures of the likes of Debenhams and Marks & Spencer.

Those most at risk are where there are two Boots stores in the same town, or where leases are close to expiry.
