Run in conjunction with Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, the workshop is open to chamber members and non-members whatever the size of their workforce.

It will cover the latest trends and important topics in employment law and provide practical advice about its application in the workplace.

Subjects to be covered include current developments in employment law, practical guidance on how to prepare for any changes, key dates for employment law reform, and the effects on HR policies, procedures and people management. The session will also include a round-up of recent employment law cases.

Andrew Masters, partner and head of employment, at Furley Page, said: “Our employment law workshops are always hugely popular as they provide employers and HR professionals in a concise and cost efficient manner the very latest insights in the complex area of employment law. Our workshops empower managers to have more confidence and practical knowledge when dealing with employment issues at work.

“The sessions are interactive, with plenty of opportunity for questions and answers throughout, so delegates can discuss areas that are of interest to their organisation. We’ve been running these workshops with Kent Invicta Chamber for the past 15 years; they are always extremely well-attended, and I would urge any executives and HR professionals that are interested to book now to reserve one of the few remaining places.”

Registration is from 8am, starting at 8.30am and finishing at noon. Workshop costs, including refreshments, are £75 (inc VAT) to Kent Invicta Chamber members and £95 (inc VAT) to non-members.
