Brussel sprout crisps produced by Sittingbourne firm Nim's

A specialist crisps producer has unveiled its festive line-up - including an air-dried Brussel sprout range.

Sittingbourne firm Nim's which specialises in air-dried fruit and vegetable crisps is hoping the 'love them or hate them' roast dinner regular will be a big seller over the Christmas period.

In addition to the Brussels variety, there is also Beet & Butt - a blend of beetroot and butternut squash - and Bubble & Squeak, made with parsnip, beetroot and, you guessed it, more Brussel sprouts.

Air dried, rather than fried, the range are certified as being one of the recommended five portions or fruit and veg a day.

The process uses no oils, chemicals or additives.

All flavours are available to buy from independent stores or online for £1.95 for 80g share bags.

More than 80% of the fruit and veg used by Nim’s is grown in the UK and the majority is sourced within 40 miles of the factory.
