German home appliance firm Miele is to open a new store at Bluewater later this month.

The company, which specialises in high-end domestic appliances, will open the store on Friday, April 29.

It will be on the fourth consumer store the brand has opened in the UK, joining existing outlets in London, Oxfordshire and Edinburgh.

Seven new jobs will be created when it opens its doors in the Upper Guildhall section of the Greenhithe shopping complex.

John Pickering, managing director for Miele GB said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Bluewater customers and helping them make informed decisions about buying new sustainable appliances and ensuring they get the absolute most out of them.”

A host of special demonstrations and competitions will take place over its opening weekend, offering customers the chance to win appliances and vouchers.
