Are you a manager looking to position your SME for success?

Help to Grow: Management at Kent Business School is a 12-week practical management training programme designed to support senior managers of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) to boost performance, resilience, and long-term growth.

.

The course, which is 90% subsidised by the government, will tackle business challenges and help you develop a tailored growth action plan.

The programme, delivered in collaboration with industry experts and experienced entrepreneurs, costs just £750 per participant. It offers study structured around existing work commitments through a blend of online and face-to-face sessions.

Those who take the course will:

  • Develop leadership skills including strategic planning, employee engagement, finance and marketing
  • Develop strategies for market segmentation, positioning and targeting
  • Gain access to regional and national networks
  • Work with a mentor to develop a Growth Action Plan that is tailored to each business
  • Learn how to get employees on board and engaged with a future plan
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital approaches for innovation
  • Improve operational efficiency

Kerry Smith, CEO of Kent Coast Volunteering, undertook the Help to Grow Management course earlier this year.

She says: “I loved the comprehensive content, the skill of the tutors, the group exercises, the comprehensive notes, the peer group sessions, the mentor support.

“The course was inspiring and more importantly it helped me identify where change was needed; as well as give me the confidence to prioritise, navigate and implement change.”
