A ROCHESTER based firm of consultants has received the Investors in People award for staff development.

CKW Training Consultants Ltd of Sir Thomas Longley Road was presented with the award by Karen Chantler, business support manager at Business Link Kent.

Susan Comer, managing director of CKW Training Consultants said: "We decided to go for Investors in People not only to increase staff motivation but to assist in the successful tendering of contracts, many organisations will now only deal with IIP accredited companies. It also ensures an on-going staff training programme which is linked to our quality assurance standards."
