KEiBA 2017: Entering awards is 'smart investment of time' says construction project of the year sponsor Brachers

Companies will be making a “smart investment of time with very little to lose” by entering Kent’s top business awards.

Getting involved in KEiBA 2017 is “an important way of building profile and credibility” according to Sarah Gaines, head of property at Maidstone-based Brachers.

The law firm is co-sponsoring the new construction project of the year category at this year’s event, which has 16 awards up for grabs.

KEiBA 2017 – short for the Kent Excellence in Business Awards – is open for entries until Friday, February 24, with the awards presented at a gala evening in June.

Mrs Gaines said: “We know from our superb range of clients just how strong and vibrant the business community is in Kent.

“So we would absolutely encourage businesses to demonstrate their talent and let it shine by entering the KEIBAs.

“For growing businesses especially, winning awards can be an important way of building profile and credibility. It’s a smart investment of time, with very little to lose.”

She added: “Construction really is a key industry, especially in Kent. We have seen some great projects over the past year delivering outstanding results for businesses, schools and colleges, community projects, new housing stock, recreational facilities and public realm improvements.

“We’re keen to see anything that demonstrates excellence and innovation in any size project, big or small. We know the talent’s out there. Put yourself forward for the recognition your team deserves.”
