Kwik Fit in Whitstable reopened by the Sheriff of Canterbury

A Kwik Fit centre has reopened after a refurbishment.

The Sheriff of Canterbury, Cllr Rosemary Doyle, cut the ribbon on the revamped Whitstable workshop on Thursday, August 25.

“It’s given the staff a real boost that our hard work has been recognised and that our centre has been given major investment,” said centre manager Richard Henthorne.

The garage will mark the revamp with up to 50% off work carried out on Saturday, September 3.

Cllr Doyle said: “It’s always good to see businesses improving the services they offer to customers.

“I’m particularly pleased that there is an apprentice scheme in place. This will give young people a helping hand by creating jobs and giving them some valuable career skills.

“I hope they will see the benefits of this and apply for the programme.”
