New partners mean expansion

ACCOUNTANCY firm Reeves & Neylan has two new partners, Margaret Connolly and Richard Heasman.

Margaret has joined the firm's Canterbury office to undertake a strategic role in developing its tax department. A large part of her career was spent at KPMG where she was senior member of their Entrepreneurial Solutions Group.

The second appointment is that of Richard Heasman within the Forensic Accounting Department based in Ramsgate. Richard was brought into the Department in 1995 from the firm's Dover office to help build up R&N Forensic Accounting's workload.

For Clive Stevens, Reeves & Neylan's managing partner, the two appointments are particularly significant. He said that they mark a major milestone in the firm's development.

"In tax R&N has always had an excellent reputation, but with Margaret on board they now have the chance to develop the firm's overall strategy and expand their client and service portfolio into new areas," Mr Stevens said. "Richard's promotion validates the firm's decision, some ten years ago, to venture into forensic accounting."
