Some couples plan to take quirky photos on their wedding day, but for Paul and Daniella Fouracre, the bright purple bus photobombing their snaps was a complete surprise.

The newlyweds from Walderslade, were married at Medway Register Office before heading to Rochester High Street, with photographer and close friend Jon Rothwell, to have some photos taken.

Mr Fouracre, 43, said: “I wanted pictures with the castle in the background so we got a few in the archway and there were cars going by bibbing their horns.

“Jon was in the castle moat with the cathedral in the background and this bus just came along and bibbed.

“We asked Jon if he got the bus in the picture and he did. It’s great that he got involved in our joyous occasion.

“Some couples take quirky wedding pictures and that was ours.”
