Air ambulance called to Maidstone motorbike crash

An air ambulance was sent to help a motorcyclist injured in a crash with a car.

Paramedics rushed to the scene of the collision on Boxley Road, Maidstone, at around 1.10pm.

A crew from the Kent, Sussex, and Surrey Air Ambulance met the South East Coast Ambulance service (SECAmb) there.

The motorcyclist, a man, was taken by road to Medway Maritime Hospital with a shoulder injury.
