Paramedics attend to collapsed woman in Pret A Manger, Fremlin Walk, Maidstone

Paramedics were called to Maidstone town centre this afternoon after a woman collapsed.

The woman in her 30s was treated in Pret A Manger, Fremlin Walk, at around 3.15pm.

Three vehicles attended the scene following reports that she had bumped her head and collapsed.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "Three vehicles attended at 3.15pm and left by 3.45pm. The woman declined hospital treatment."

He added that the number of vehicles did not reflect the severity of the injury and that one was only there for three minutes.
