Paramedics take shopper in Week Street, Maidstone with chest pain to hospital

A shopper has been taken to hospital after collapsing outside a Specsavers store.

South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) was called to Week Street, Maidstone just before 3.30pm.

A spokesman for SECAmb confirmed that a person was taken to Maidstone Hospital to receive further medical attention.

SECAmb was unable to confirm the gender or the age of the person.
