A man was arrested after officers found a haul of cannabis plants.

It came as police were carrying out a search warrant in West Street, Harrietsham, yesterday.

Officers say they discovered over 40 plants and growing equipment.

A 47-year-old from the area was arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation.

He was later released while investigations continue.
