A man has been arrested after a disturbance involving a number of people.
Police were called to Maidstone High Street, near the Argos store, shortly before 4.15am today.
It was alleged a woman had been assaulted during the incident and damage had been caused to a shop window.
Officers arrested a 21-year-old man from Dartford on suspicion of both offences.
He remains in custody.
