Three men were arrested after police chased a car from Larkfield to Meopham on Saturday night.

The chase began when a patrol attempted to stop a Suzuki Vitara on Leybourne Way in Larkfield, after spotting it being driven erratically.

The driver failed to stop and made off in the direction of Snodland, where witnesses reported seeing police cars "flying" along Malling Road in the direction of Holborough with sirens and blue lights.

Police were also seen turning into Constitution Hill and then down Woodlands Avenue as the pursuit continued.

The car was chased along country lanes north of Snodland, until being stopped at Meopham.

Two passengers - one 16, the other 22 - were arrested and later released without charged.

A 19 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of going equipped to steal, failing to stop, dangerous driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

He was bailed until Friday, April 12
