Three men from Tunbridge Wells were arrested on suspicion of assault after an early morning attack.

The trio are thought to be involved in a confrontation between two groups of men in Gabriels Hill, Maidstone.

A 21-year-old man from Rochester suffered a head injury during the incident, which broke out at about 4am yesterday.

He was taken to Maidstone Hospital for treatment, where he is in a stable condition.
