Police in Maidstone raid homes of suspected drug dealers

Police investigating drugs offences in Maidstone have made five arrests after a series of morning raids.

The force arranged warrants for three addresses and visited homes in Fairmeadow, St Peter’s Street and Hart Street yesterday morning.

Stashes of suspected illegal drugs and mobile phones were seized from the properties in Fairmeadow and St Peter's Street.

All five were detained on suspicion of conspiracy to supply controlled drugs.
Three men have been bailed, pending further enquiries, until 10 October.

They are two 29-year-old men from Maidstone, and a 27-year-old man of no fixed address held in St Peter’s Street.

A 24-year-old woman, of no fixed address and a 20-year-old man from Maidstone have been bailed until September 30 while further enquiries are made.
