Unsecured doors at the back of a refrigerated lorry swung open, spreading its load of apples across the carriageway.

The incident happened on Hunton Hill in Hunton.

The lorry had just collected a load from nearby Amesbury Farm.

Police closed the road while the mess was cleared up.

The incident, which happened at around 3.45pm on Sunday, closed the road for more than two hours.
