A bomb disposal unit was called to a house in Maidstone this afternoon.
Soldiers were spotted in Pope Street along with two police response cars and a van.

He added: "At the moment there are two police vehicles up the road a van which I'm guessing is part of the police some undercover police officers coming out of the property with some packages and the bomb disposal van.
"I did see some men in camouflage walking past earlier. I first saw them at around about 1pm but the bomb disposal van arrived later on during the day."
VIDEO: Bomb squad called to Maidstone
It is the second time in three years the bomb squad has been called to the address.
In December 2013 officers attended a property after a resident raised concerns about plastic explosives and military memorabilia.
A police spokesman said it is not involved in the incident and the operation is being led by the Ministry of Defence.
An army spokesman confirmed the team was from Shorncliffe but it is not yet known what has been found at the scene.
He could not confirm why they were called to the address.
It is understood there is no bomb at the scene and it is a pre-planned operation.
One Pope Street resident, who didn't wish to be named, said: "They've been here since I left the house at 9.30am. I don't know what they're doing and I don't know who lives in that house."
A woman from Pope Street believed immigration officials had also visited the property a few months ago.
She said: "When I left home this morning there were police vans outside and when I came back there were even more there and a bomb disposal van around the corner, which was worrying."
