Boxing champion Tyson Fury to meet fans at Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel

Boxing superstar Tyson Fury is coming to Kent this summer.

The heavyweight fighter will be visiting the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel in July to discuss his remarkable career and how he became the best on the planet.

Fury, nicknamed The Gypsy King, famously dethroned Wladimir Klitschko on an unforgettable night in Dusseldorf, Germany, to become the undisputed champion of the world.

He then suffered a series of well-documented personal issues and problems before making his long-awaited comeback in June 2018, defeating Sefer Seferi in Manchester before beating Francesco Pianetta in Belfast two months later.

Fury's biggest test came against WBC king Deontay Wilder in Los Angeles on December 1, where he managed to get up from a brutal combination from his opponent in the 12th round and claim a controversial draw.

On July 3, Fury will be visiting the County Town to meet fans, pose for photographs and tell his story at an event presented by Gold Star Promotions.

Tickets are available for £35, £75 and £175 here, with the most expensive VIP tickets including a photograph alongside Fury to be taken home and a glove signed by the man himself.

Keep an eye out for a chance to win tickets in What's On next month.
