A lost dog, nicknamed Rodney, was found wandering in Headcorn last night

An appeal has gone out to find the owners of a lost dog found wandering in Headcorn.

The dog, which was found in Smarden Road last night at 11pm, was picked up by resident Jayne Shawcross, who contacted Maidstone council’s dog warden.

She said: “He so gorgeous, so gentle and loving. Let me handle him, bath him, put a fleece on to warm him up and let me feed him and sit with him. He’ll make a fantastic pet for a loving home, he just needs lots of TLC and love.”
