Running Horse roundabout clear after crash on Medway-bound lane

A car crash on a key route out of Maidstone caused delays yesterday afternoon.

The accident, which involved a Toyota Avensis and a Peugeot, happened at around 4pm and blocked one Medway-bound lane at the A229 Running Horse roundabout.

It had been cleared by 5.30pm and there were no reports of any injuries.
