If you’re thinking of stepping out tomorrow night (Saturday) make sure you dig out your onesie and warm slippers.
It may sound like unlikely get-up for a brisk walk in the evening, but that’s the dress code for those taking part in the Heart of Kent Hospice’s Moonlit Walk.
Former Maidstone resident, Carol McGiffin, fresh from her stint on Celebrity Big Brother, will be joining walkers with her boyfriend Mark Cassidy again this year.
Now in its seventh year the fun event at David Lloyd gym in Kings Hill runs from 10pm and includes a six or 10-mile walk, beginning with a burlesque-style warm up for participants from 8.30pm. Many come dressed for the pyjama theme.
Since it launched, more than 4,500 people have taken part raising £375,000 to date.
