Child, 12, taken to hospital after being hit by car on London Road in Maidstone

A child has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Maidstone.

Emergency services were called to London Road at 8.17am this morning following the crash.

Officers and ambulance crews are still at the scene.

The child, a 12-year-old girl, has been taken to a local hospital for treatment.
