Stan Truelove and his dazzling display

We want to find the best dressed Christmas house in the Maidstone, Malling or Weald area.

There is £50 in Notcutts vouchers up for grabs.

This week, 56-year-old Stan Truelove (pictured above) stole a march on decorators everywhere, when his display in Canterbury, which uses 50,000 lightbulbs hit national TV.

His shining effort has helped raised £30,000 for charity.

But we want to know what's going on closer to home - and of course, whether you could outdo Stan.

In conjunction with Notcutts in Maidstone, we are offering £50 of garden centre vouchers for the reader whose house twinkles and sparkles like no other.

We'd love to see a piccie, so good luck, peace to all competitors and please get snapping. After all the pictures are reviewed and judged, the winner will be announced in the KM on Friday, December 23.

So if you think yours is the brightest, most imaginatively decorated house in the Maidstone, Weald or Malling area, send your entry by one of the following methods:
From your mobile phone: Start the message with the word LIGHTS. Leave a space, add your name and address and send to 87474. You will receive a text back confirming we’ve received it. All replied texts cost £1 plus your standard network charge.

By email to:messengernews@thekmgroup.co.uk along with your name, address and daytime contact number.
