Crash on A249 Wat Tyler Way in Maidstone close to junction with A20 Ashford Road

A two-car crash blocked part of a busy route this morning, with traffic being diverted by police.

The collision happened on the A249 Wat Tyler Way northbound, close to the junction with the A20 Ashford Road.

All northbound traffic was diverted onto King Street by police until the accident cleared just after 12.30pm.

There are no reported injuries.
