A woman was freed from her car after a crash at a busy junction.

The motorist was involved in a collision with another car where Loose Road meets Armstrong Road, just after 1pm.

Two crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service arrived and cut the roof off the vehicle to free the woman.

The area was closed while emergency services attended.

The casualty was taken to hospital by South East Coast Ambulance. Her injuries are not thought to be serious.

Kent Police also attended.
