Delays at A229 Linton crossroads, Loose, after accident

A road is no longer blocked after an accident caused delays to drivers.

Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) attended as the A229 Linton crossroads in Loose was partially blocked.

A Kent County Council Highways steward attended to deal with a fuel spillage.

The vehicle has been recovered.

A spokesman for SECAmb confirmed that two ambulances were sent to the crossroads, where two female patients were seen.

One of the patients experienced back pain and was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital for further treatment.

The second ambulance left the scene at around 11.40am.
