Paramedics treated a female cyclist at the scene for serious injuries before she was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital for further medical attention.

Part of the road leading onto Sutton Road was closed for more than an hour as emergency services carried out their work.

Motorists were forced to go through Loose as Cranborne Avenue is closed as part of an "experimental closure".

It's part of a wider plan for the junction surrounding the Wheatsheaf pub, which is set to be demolished and replaced with a roundabout.

Kent County Council closed the road in March until September 24 next year.
