Drivers were warned to allow more time for their journeys this morning due to a broken down vehicle on a motorway slip road.

It was blocking a lane of the London-bound exit at Junction 8 for Leeds Castle and said to be causing severe delays.

The lane had re-opened and the traffic cleared by 8am.
