Four arrested after fight

Four men have been charged in connection with an altercation in Maidstone town centre.

The men, all from Chatham, have all been charged with affray and criminal damage after they allegedly caused trouble after being thrown out of a pub in Earl Street.

Abdul Alim, 25, of Charles Street; Asif Bashir, 18, of Rochester Street; Abdul Halim, 21, also of Charles Street, and Zahid Noor, 22, of Glencoe Road, in the town, were all charged following the incident on Thursday, May 24.

All of them have been bailed and are due to appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, July 18.
