Tonbridge have failed to bolster their squad ahead of Monday’s Blue Square Bet South derby at Bromley following the departure of their two Bristol Rovers loanees.

Kayne McLaggon and Michael Boateng both returned to the League 2 club after Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at home to Havant.

Boateng has since been loaned out to Tonbridge’s league rivals Sutton and Angels boss Tommy Warrilow, pictured, has so far been unsuccessful in his attempts to replace the pair.

He said: "Some players don’t want to come and play for Tonbridge, they’ve got better offers elsewhere. I’d like to improve in certain areas but if I can’t, I can’t. Maybe in the new year something will happen."

Tim Olorunda cancelled out Steven Ramsey’s opening goal at Longmead but Havant clinched a 2-1 win when Oliver Palmer’s effort deflected past Lee Worgan.

Boxing Day opponents Bromley are without a league win on home soil since August. Lewis Taylor and Rory Hill could line up against their former side, while Bromley’s defence is likely to feature former Angels Liam Harwood and Rob Gillman.

Defender Jon Heath could return from injury to play some part at Hayes Lane. Jon Main remains sidelined with a knee injury but Warrilow rubbished rumours he will be out for another three months.
