A GP practice may have to reschedule routine appointments due to staff shortages.

The Vine Medical Centre in Maidstone said yesterday it has four doctors and clinicians unable to work due to having to self-isolate because of Covid-19 and sickness.

A Facebook post yesterday morning from the Tonbridge Road practice said: "Please only contact the practice to obtain an emergency appointment if you have a genuine on-the-day emergency.

"Patients with routine booked appointments may be contacted to have their appointments rescheduled.

"Thank you for your understanding."
